神影-001
無顔鹿/Muganroku
温厚な性質を持ち、人間へ積極的に危害を加えることはない。同種で群れを成し、静かに移動する姿が目撃されている。体長には極端な個体差があり、人間の子供ほどの小柄な個体から、約2メートルに達する大型個体まで幅広い。
頭部の形状は個体ごとに異なるが、共通して頭部表面には文字のような謎の紋様が刻まれている。その意味は未だ解明されていない。
This species is known for its gentle nature and does not actively pose a threat to humans. They are often observed moving quietly in groups of their own kind. Their body size varies greatly between individuals, ranging from those as small as a human child to significantly larger specimens reaching up to approximately two meters in height.While the shape of their heads differs from one individual to another, all share a common feature: mysterious, character-like markings etched across their head surface. The meaning of these symbols remains entirely unknown.

件異/Keni
基本的に敵対心は低いが、一定以上に近づくと突発的な攻撃性を見せる危険がある。これまでに複数の同種の個体が見つかっている。白と黒のまだら模様を持つことから、牛の皮膚を思わせる外見として知られる。
ただし黒色領域は変動する性質を持ち、全身が黒一色に染まった個体が目撃されることもある。古い文献には厄災の兆しに応じてその体は暗く沈むとの記述が残されているが、真偽は不明である。
Although generally non-hostile, this species may exhibit sudden aggression if approached too closely, posing a potential risk. Several individuals of the same species have been found so far.They are known for their distinctive black-and-white mottled pattern, giving them an appearance reminiscent of a cow’s hide.However, the distribution of the black markings is not constant. There have been sightings of individuals whose bodies have turned completely pitch black. Ancient records contain descriptions suggesting that their coloration darkens in response to looming calamities, though the truth behind this claim remains uncertain.

祈蝉/Kisen
巨大な蝉のような形をした異形。体長は約1.5メートルとされている。人間を見つけると即座に飛び立つため近づくことが難しい。その背部には複数の顔が浮かび上がっており、まるで手を合わせ祈りを捧げるような形をしている。古い文献には「神の死に寄り添い、その魂を悼むもの」と記されている。
その出現場所は“神が死んだ場所”と強く関連していると考えられている。
A grotesque entity resembling an enormous cicada, estimated to stand around 1.5 meters in length. Only a single individual has ever been confirmed. When it detects the presence of a human, it immediately takes flight, making close observation extremely difficult.
Multiple faces appear to emerge along its back, arranged as though it is clasping its hands in prayer. Ancient writings describe it as “a mourner of fallen gods, offering prayers for their lost souls.” Its sightings are strongly believed to be connected to places where a god has died.

駆像/Kuzou
山中の洞窟で発見された、木製の仏像のような外見をした異形。普段は微動だにせず、まるでそこに祀られているかのように佇む。ただし稀に、お経のような音を発しながらわずかに動くことがある。
目撃場所へ再度訪れると、忽然と姿を消していることが多く、その後全く別の場所で発見される例も確認されている。
A being discovered within mountain caves, bearing the appearance of a wooden Buddhist statue. It typically remains completely motionless, standing as though it were enshrined in that very place. However, on rare occasions, it has been observed to emit a chant-like sound—resembling a Buddhist sutra—while shifting its posture ever so slightly.
When observers return to its last known location, it is often gone without a trace, only to be encountered later in a completely different location. This suggests that it is capable of relocating, albeit slowly and mysteriously.

双顔鹿/Souganroku
前後に顔を持ち、前に進むことも後ろに進むこともできる。
それぞれの顔には昆虫のような奇妙な存在が取り付き、眼の役割を果たしていると考えられている。
本体と二つの顔は、まるで一つの命を分け合うように不気味な共存関係を成している。
It possesses faces on both its front and back, allowing it to move forward or backward without changing its orientation.
Strange insect-like organisms cling to each face, believed to function as its eyes.
The main body and the two faces appear to share a single life in an eerie state of coexistence, as though they are dividing one existence among them.

三童司/Sandoushi
本体となる大型の個体は、その背部と腹部にそれぞれ別の異形を抱え込んでいるように見える。 背部側の異形が上顎、腹部側の異形が下顎として機能し、三体が共存していると推測されているが、 古い文献には上顎に相当する異形のみが単独で目撃された記録があり、これら三体は分離するができるとされている。目撃情報が少なくその性格は不明。
The primary, large-bodied entity appears to be carrying distinct aberrant forms on both its dorsal and ventral sides. The dorsal aberration functions as an upper jaw, while the ventral aberration serves as a lower jaw, leading to the hypothesis that the three entities coexist as a single composite being. However, older texts record sightings in which only the aberration corresponding to the upper jaw was observed independently, suggesting that these three entities are capable of separating. Due to the scarcity of confirmed sightings, its temperament remains unknown.

天鯉/Tenri
全長7mほどある巨大な鯉のような異形。荒れ果てた巨大な池での目撃例が多いが、古い文献には空を泳ぐ姿が記録されているものもある。近年では、使用されなくなった貯水タンク内での目撃情報もあり、水中だけでなく空中を移動しながら住処を変えている可能性がある。体表には文字のような模様が見られるが、その意味は未だ解読されていない。
A massive, carp-like entity measuring approximately seven meters in length. It is most frequently sighted in desolate, overgrown lakes, but ancient records also describe instances of it swimming through the sky. In recent years, there have been reports of sightings inside abandoned water tanks, suggesting that it may move through both water and air while changing its dwelling.Its body surface bears markings resembling characters, though their meaning remains undeciphered.

響鹿/Kyoroku
上半身と下半身が別個体に分かれていながら互いに腕を伸ばし支え合って四足歩行の鹿のように移動する。下半身部分は単体で歩行している目撃情報があるが上半身は単体ではバランスを保てず歩行できないと考えられている。性格は温厚。
The upper and lower halves exist as separate entities, yet they extend their limbs to support each other, moving together in a quadrupedal manner reminiscent of a deer. There are reports of the lower half moving independently, but it is believed that the upper half cannot maintain balance on its own and is unable to walk alone.
Its temperament is gentle.

樹影人/Jueijin
背中に顔を持つ虫のような存在が、樹木のような体にしがみつき、共存している。顔部分のみが単独で発見されたこともあり、木の枝や電柱などの棒状のものに取り付いている状態で目撃されている。体部分は単独では動くことができず、顔部分と共存することで顔部分の個体が脳のような役割を果たし、体を動かしていると考えられている。
A bug-like entity with a face on its back clings to a tree-like body, coexisting with it. The face alone has sometimes been found independently and has been observed attached to stick-like objects such as tree branches or utility poles. The body cannot move on its own and is believed to be controlled by the face, which acts like a brain, enabling the body to move.

面荒/Menkou
腕が4本あり、全長約3mにも達する巨人のような異形。
常に能面のような仮面をつけた姿で目撃されるが、古い記録には「仮面の下には顔が存在しなかった」と記されている。
気性は荒く、過去には人間を襲った事例も伝わっている。
また、面虚と同時に発見されることが多く、互いに呼応し合って行動している可能性が高いとされる。
A giant, puppet-like entity approximately 3 meters in height, possessing four arms.It is most commonly sighted wearing a Noh mask, though ancient records state that there was no face beneath the mask.
It is known to be aggressive, with accounts suggesting that it has attacked humans in the past.
Sightings frequently occur alongside Menkyo, indicating a high possibility that the two entities respond to one another and act in concert.
神影-011
面虚/Menkyo
顔は存在せず、能面のような仮面を常に携えている。
目がないはずにもかかわらず、人間の気配に素早く反応することから、この仮面が視覚器官の役割を果たしていると推測されている。
性格自体は温厚とされるが、気性の荒い「面荒」と共に行動していることが多く、接近すると面荒によって襲われる危険性がある。
It has no face of its own, instead carrying a mask resembling a Noh mask.
Although it should lack sight, it reacts immediately to the presence of humans, suggesting that the mask functions as its eyes.
Its temperament is generally considered gentle, yet it is frequently observed moving alongside the aggressive entity known as Menkou.
For that reason, approaching it carries the risk of being attacked by Menkou.
